The plan to save the galaxy from itself failed. For a thousand years, the old empires burned until war simply ran out.
Now, in 167 RE, the Rekindling finally starts to give hope to the galaxy. Scattered worlds are rebuilding. Patrols fly again, markets trade, and dead gates return to life.
You are nobody. One pilot, one ship and a few credits, alone in a dangerous galaxy, but you need not remain alone. Syndicates are beginning to form. Trade, hunt, explore, escort, rescue or turn outlaw. Beyond policed space, the greatest risks bring the greatest rewards.
And beyond mapped space waits the Harrow. No one knows where it came from, or whether it had a hand in the old wars. Its Motes, Wraiths and Monoliths do not speak or bargain. They are drawn to rekindled gates—and the new dawn must be defended.
